Production Meteor

  • Jul 23, 2014 · 7:00 PM

After a short holiday, the Berlin Meteor Meetup is back, bigger and better than ever!

Is Meteor.js ready for production apps?
We think it is, come along and find out why!

19:00 - 19:15 Networking
19:15 - 19:30 Philip Nuzhnyy - How to deploy meteor on heroku
19:30 - 19:45 Eelco Wiersma - How to deploy meteor on nodejitsu
19:45 - Discussion & drinks

Philip and Eelco will lead off with short presentations talking about their experience deploying meteor. Then we'll open out into a discussion about Meteor's readiness for production apps, issues faced while deploying and scaling meteor, how to do SEO, how to reduce the first page load penalty and anything else related to Meteor in production.

Over 50% of previous attendees have no experience with Meteor, so beginners be welcome.

Sooo we don't expect you to know meteor, but we want you to be active. We want the meetup to be very interactive, so bring your laptop, bring some code to show if you have, and prepare for pure javascript awesomeness...

* Nodejitsu will sponsor the meetup with pizza and beer. Thank you guys!
