How to create a mini router and lessons learned.

  • July 9, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Hello guys,

I know it's been a while since we've had a Meteor Meetup here in Denver but we'd like to revive the group.

I want you guys to show off what you've done in meteor, it can be an app or an open source project. I also want you to share how you work, what tools, packages, libraries, editors, etc. you use.

Contact me and I'll reserve time for you.

If everyone's too shy to present I'll use the time to explain how you can create your own mini router with a few lines of code (maybe you don't need all the functionality of Iron-Router), and also share my experience developing a real world application with Meteor.

So please join us.

Hey, I can't remember who was doing D3 visualizations, but I remember talking about it, and I just came across this:

Looks useful. Also, thanks to Manuel for putting together a great meetup!

I was going to ask you for an impromptu presentation of Velocity once we were there =)

Sounds good. I'll bring a six-pack. Anyone else? If a couple more people bring some, we can share.

People are always welcomed to bring their own beer. I'll get some sodas too.

We should organize this better for future meetups though.

Nice, thanks! Do they have drinks there, or should we ask people to bring something?

I'd like to learn how to make a mini-router either way! It sounds cool.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
