Devshop SF - June

Come co-work with other Meteorites during the day at Meteor Devshop, or socialize with Meteorites and give/see Lightning Talks in the evening. Or both. Either way, we'd love to see you!

*Doors open at 2PM.*

Note: this event is for people attending Devshop in real life.

Meteor Devshop: Day

What: Open co-working
When: 2PM - 6PM
Where: Meteor HQ,[masked]th St., San Francisco, CA

*Doors open at 2PM.*

We're focusing this Devshop on helping people build apps and packages.  Some knowledgable Meteorites will be here to help, and there is an opportunity to show off what you built with a Lightning Talk. (Pay it forward by taking a shift to answer questions for fellow Meteorites.) There will be plenty of snacks, caffeine, and fellow Meteorites, so please bring your laptops and ideas.

Meteor Devshop: Night

What: Dinner, Lightning Talks, and Happy Hour
When: 6PM - 10PM
Where: Meteor HQ,[masked]th St., San Francisco, CA

Come share food, drinks, and talks with fellow Meteorites. Demo an app, share something useful for fellow Meteorites, or talk about something interesting you've learned with a Lightning Talk. If you would like to give a Lightning Talk, please sign up at least one week before Devshop so we have time to make graphics for your name and your talk.

For inspiration, see Lightning Talks from previous Devshops.

6:00PM - Dinner

7:00PM - Sam Hatoum, Mike Risse, Adrian Lanning - Velocity - Unifying the Meteor Testing Landscape

7:20PM - Sean Rose (PM at Box) - Instant Realtime Presentations with Box View

7:40PM - Lightning Talks (you!)

Transit Information

There is ample street parking at this end of SOMA, but we're also pretty close to Civic Center BART station, and the Bus lines 47 and 83X take you straight here from the Caltrain stop at 4th and King.  There is also a parking garage on Mission between 7th and 8th that operates until midnight. You can also lock your bike to nearby parking meters.

The meteor team was so nice and fun! Discovered amazing resources and new friends, and finished my first meteor app as soon as I got home! Also the food and drinks were SO gourmet. Dumplings and potstickers, yum!

Hey Meteorites! I'll be traveling to Sweden so I can't come.

Would love to see the talk about Meteor Testing but I guess I can watch the recording. Are they collected somewhere?

I'll see you after the summer!
