Have you experienced kirtan before? If so, how?

Yes every chance I get!! I go to the KD weekend retreats at Yogaville yearly, chant at yogaville, chant along with amma every year she comes to visit...and there are only chant cds in my cd player. Would love to be a part of a local chant group as my ashram only plays bhajans....and sometimes I just want to sing a little louder and faster!

Do you play any instruments?

I mainly play Dholak...I am learning mridunga....I also play kartals ...and am trying to teach myself harmonium.

What spiritual path do you follow, if any?

My path is sat sanan guru is Paramahans Swami Maheshwarananda...founder of Yoga in Dsily Life..a close cousin in style to Integral Yoga. But I read and study the lives and teachings of many great teachers. The truth is one...paths are many.

I've been practicing traditional yoga for 20 yrs. About 10 yrs ago heard the most magnificent voice on Born into Brothels soundtrack. I *had* to find out who that was! It was Krishna Das! Jai RAM!! I was hooked & have been chanting ever since!
