International Women's Day

AID often brings forward campaigns where Indian or International mainstream media refuses to cover if the victim is poor, tribal or from a backward class.

Story of Soni Sori, a tribal school teacher,  encapsulates the issues many tribal women in India are facing; caught between cross fire of government troops and the extremists.

Please watch the presentation and Walk in the shoes of Soni Sori.

Same presentation would be visible on the Gilman Quad at Hopkins today from 2 pm to 5 pm.
