As an adult adoptee, I have often found it difficult to find meaningful support and the space to openly discuss my experiences and thoughts about adoption, whether my experiences growing up as an adoptee and reuniting with my first families or the systematic and personal injustices surrounding adoption. I hope this group will be a safe space for adult adoptees to discuss the myriad experiences, thoughts, and feelings surrounding adoption and getting on in the world as an adoptee in a supportive, friendly atmosphere. Any interested adoptees are welcome, regardless of adoption type or background.
