Bicycle Tour of Detroit's Green Water Infrastructure

Wayne State U. Office of Campus Sustainability and Sierra Club present The Green Ride, a bicycle tour of Detroit environmental jewels: community and rain gardens, a green roof, solar panels, & rain catchment systems. Bring bike, spare tube, water. Helmets required. $1 donation.  Ride 8 miles in 3 hours; numerous stops. Goes rain/shine.  Questions?  Call guide: Melissa,[masked] (during standard office hours).

    This sounds awesome! I would love to see this tour. I do not have a helmet though. Will I still be allowed to join? I hope so! :)

      Safety first. You must have a helmet. I always bring one extra, so if you're one of the first ones there that needs a helmet, it will be yours for the duration of the ride.
