Pre-Halloween Heritage Park Hike (Farmington Hills)

  • October 20, 2013 · 10:00 AM

Lets hike the rolling hills of this lovely Farmington Hills park. This is an area that draws
goblins and ghosts in 10 days, so we will be on the lookout for their ghoulish tracks; and tricks. A hilly, 4 mile walk, moderate pace, through forests and river overlooks. The fall colors should be at their peak, perfect cover for early trick and treaters. Questions?  Contact leader Phil,[masked]C.

Meet:  10am at Heritage Park on Farmington Road between 10 & 11-mile Rd. Enter, go left at the stop sign then right.  Park in the lot near the visitor center.

Hi, No worries. I didn't find anyone. I just saw a group of people from sierra club but noone else. However, I hiked around myself anyways. It was really pretty with a ton of trail names!! Thanks to Phil for organizing this. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet anyone but at least I got to see the park.

Hi, Mak - I hate to tell you this: Sierra Club sponsors the Metro Detroit Outdoors Hiking Meetup Group so that was us out there. Most of the people who find us on our meetup group know this because it is spelled out in the section "Pages" on the horizontal bar at the top of the home page. I hope you'll give us another try. Looking forward to a nice walk. Is it paved or a trail?
