Veterans Day Hike at Heritage Park (Farmington Hills)
November 10, 2013 · 11:00 AM
The heritage of our country values our veterans, we welcome all veteran hikers. The hills will show their fall colors. We will take all the loop trails for a 4-mile hike. The steep hills overlooking the floodplain of the Rouge River will challenge your legs and lungs, but the view is worth it. Optional restaurant stop after. Questions? Contact leader Phil,[masked]C.
Meet at trailhead: In Farmington Hills Heritage Park visitor center parking lot. Turn west off of Farmington Rd. (between 10 and 11 Mile), left at 1st road and right at the next.
Do you like being outdoors and active? Give us a try. We are outside four seasons of the year with lots of hiking, some canoeing, camping and x-c skiing.
This Meetup is a project of the local Sierra Club (SEMG); at each activity, participants are asked to sign a liability waiver and pay a $1 fee.
Important information about how MDOH operates is at the “Pages” tab, top of the Home page. Please read it before participating.
