Great, international group of hiking comrades. And 11 hilly miles was an excellent workout --- makes me feel I earned that donut.

The Potowatomi Trail is awesome, beautiful, and very diverse!! I will definitely hike this one again!! Thank you, Joanne, for organizing and leading this event and it was fun to meet a lot of good people.

Sorry I had to cancel. An old knee injury is flaring back up, so a 10 mile hike is probably a bit too demanding for it at the moment. Hopefully I'll see everyone at a shorter hike in the future!

Any idea on how long the hike will take. I have plans later and need to organize accordingly. Thanks!

Sounds good, Joanne. Still not sure if I'll make it (depending on the weather and some other factors). If I do attend, I'll drive to the park directly, and will plan on meeting the group at around 9:20 a.m. at the trailhead.

That would be great but completely forgot I am planting trees in Detroit and taking my pups to the grand opening of the Detroit Dog Park. Too many fun things going on!! Hope to go the next time you guys hike this trail.

Are we car pooling from Southfield or is everyone going in their own car?? It sounds like a great hike!!

You can do whichever is easiest for you. There will be carpooling from Southfield.
