Bad news. My "trail" bike was badly damaged in transport. My road bike is unsuited to a gravel trail. I cannot lead the ride. If someone else can reply here. Otherwise Joanne may cancel the ride at her discretion. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No worries! I'll lead the ride as scheduled. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.

Thank you Joanne! I'm very glad to hear that it worked out and had good attendance. My bike is salvageable and I have replacement parts on order.

Six of us did this ride and although I couldn't keep the pace Bruce promised for his outing on the way north (uphill), I COULD on the way back! A very nice ride with great conversation at the brew pub after.

Hi Joanne7925. I will try to find something that "fits" for me. Nature hikes and canoe trips sound great. Thanks.

I don't own a helmet or bike. Mostly interested in nature walks and kayaking or canoeing but have only limited experience.

Hi, Mark - We try to fully describe our outings, so please look over the descriptions to see whether there is something to fit your interests and your experience level. We have occasional "nature hikes" usually birding and wildflowers; also 3-4 canoe trips each summer, though some experience is needed on some of those (would be spelled out in the description). I hope you find something that "fits" you.
