Let’s meet at this hilly Farmington Hills park for a local look at winter. There are many spots we pass on the trails that have thick vegetation, so we should see some of the wintering birds. We will cross the Rouge River and stop to watch it flow through several s-turns at the high overlook. A 3-4 mile walk, at a brisk pace, so we stay warm. Leader: Inge,[masked]-0906.
Meet: 12:00pm at the park visitor center. Enter west from Farmington Road between 10 & 11-mile Rd. Take the first left, then turn right into the large parking lot near the visitor center.
