I need to get back to nature for my own physical and mental health and want to share the experience with others who appreciate it. Industry and technology are nice conveniences, but nature is written in our genes.
Why not? I suppose the alternative is to put it off even longer.
I was active as a kid, when I was curious and the world was a mystery. As an adult I lost site of the importance of being in nature. When I moved to New Hampshire in 2001 I got more involved. Northern New England has a different appreciation for nature than the Midwest and it was very inspiring.

Just looking to meet people with a common interest in nature.
This was my first hike with the group. Really enjoyed it. Hopefully I'll be able to make more hikes.
