Welcome!

I started this group to offer the women of the Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Battleground and No/Po (....or anywhere in between or near by) areas a venue for artistic expression, personal growth, community action and support that they (and I) don't have to drive all day to get to. :)

My vision for this group is to assemble open minded, creative, concerned and motivated women for the purpose of making a difference in our own lives, the lives of each other and the lives of those in our families and communities. I will be facilitating activities (art, personal development, charity, social fun, etc.) first at my home in Camas and perhaps at public places - and if our group grows large enough, at an agreed upon local spot that will accommodate us all comfortably. Once our group is established I would like to also plan activities where we can invite our loved ones to attend and be a part of our circle and good work.....or whatever it is we are up to.

All ages, religious affiliations, socio-economic levels, political alignments, sexual orientations, family situations, color, ethnic background, preference of sweet or sour....whatever.... are welcome. The only requirements are that you should be open minded, desire to improve yourself, desire to improve your life and want to help others to improve theirs, desire friendship, desire to share and improve your talents and want others to share and improve theirs, be able to accept constructive criticism and know how to give it (or willing to learn), desire to be a part of a team that has purpose and to be an important part of that team, desire to learn, desire to understand, desire to make a difference and ready to do what it takes to act on all of these things in a meaningful and sometimes tangible way. This will not be a group where we all JUST sit and talk. I'm tired of wondering what I can do to make things around me better and I'm ready to DO something! Are you?

A bit about myself: I am a married mother of two girls 16 and 11. I am 33. I live in Camas. I am a fan of art, music, food, culture, world religions, languages, people, nature, creativity, charity, travel, laughing, games and just living life.
