Welcome to the Metro Movie Lovers Meetup Group!
This group is for those interested in attending mainstream movies in the Detroit Metro Area. We will meet up to see movies at various theaters around town. From the Emagine in Novi, to the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak, Star Southfield, Star John R and finally MJR Theater in Sterling Heights.
All ages are welcome and you are welcome to join us regardless of where you live. If you are willing to drive, we are happy to have you join us.
We'll generally go to an earlier movie (4 p.m. - 6 p.m.), and then go out for dinner afterward, though we will mix it up on occasion. If you go to the movie, you aren't required to join us for dinner. Also, we will not plan a dinner for every meet.
Our goal is to offer two or three movie opportunities a month; as well as one family movie day a month. I am open to others joining the team to schedule movies. Click on the link to send me a message if you'd like to set up a meeting or if you'd like to become an assistant administrator for this group.
