We are a community of dog owners and dog lovers working together to support and encourage safe dog socialization through structured weekly pack walks. (We are NOT a stand around and play group.) We will hold regular, structured off-leash group walks and nature hikes at various times and locations around the Boston metro west and neighboring areas. We urge participants to use our outings as an opportunity to encourage and reinforce positive socialization skills and the behaviors you want your dog to exhibit everyday in public. All types of dogs and people are welcome, but for everyone's safety, we have a few rules that we ask every participant follow in order to walk with us: *Dogs should be tagged and up to date on shots *No face-to-face greetings for the dogs *Give every dog space before the walk, over excitement can create a ripple effect *Bring leash and poop bags to clean up after your dog just in case *If dog will be off leash reasonable voice control is required.

 

Attendance Policy: We have lots of new members joining this group who would like to attend meet up events and we have a lot of people who've been in this group for a while and should know my contact information by now who are not showing up to meet ups and taking spaces that people would otherwise fill. This is not only unfair to our new members would like to become a part of the group but also to our members who all stand around waiting for you to show up but to other members who would like to attend these events and can't because spaces are full. I know things come up and everybody has an off week so I will allow three stikes for this new policy, but our new rule will be as follows. If you are a no-show or no call for any meet up to which you have RSVPed yes it will count as a strike against you. Upon your third strike, I will then ban you from the group for one month and notify you of the ban via email.
