2013 FTW Gay Pride Parade

Alright everybody it's time for round two!

This year's Tarrant County Gay Pride Parade will happen on October 5th. The Metroplex Atheists and DFWCOR made a great showing at the Dallas Pride Parade, so let's keep the momentum going and bring it to the streets of Fort Worth!

For detailed event information along with maps and other things you can print out and take with you, have a look at our event website. It's different from the Dallas event, so at least take the time to glance at it again. http://tpcserver.com/pride2013-ftw/

The Fort Worth parade theme this year is "Pride 365", or pride all year-round. If you think you can manage the Texas heat, bring your holiday best!

The parade will begin at 12:00PM on October 5th. Here's a summarized list of things you need to know:

-Park in one of the available parking areas..
-Walk to the staging area at the interesection of TX-347 Spur (East Weatherford Street) and Burnett Street.
-Don't talk to protestors, do not throw things, do not swear or make obscene gestures, and do not take your clothes off.
-Observe the moment of silence at or near 12:08PM.
-Join us at the street festival near the intersection of 8th Street and Main Street. You could be the atheist in the "Hug an Atheist" event! Oh boy!
-If you have any other questions or need my phone number, find me on Facebook and send me a private message, or email me at [masked]
-If you've never met me before and want to find me on parade day, look for the 7' tall zombie rainbow drag queen that is stomping around in the staging area.

Let's do it one more time!
