This year, the Camp Quest Texas Summer Camp will be held at Possum Kingdom Lake from August 5th to August 11th.

Of course, we'd love for you to promote us to your organization (parents can register their kids here), but what I really want to ask for your help in is creating campership opportunities for kids from financially disadvantaged families.

Camp Quest Texas has received many applications for financial aid, and unfortunately we can't meet them all ourselves. But there's hope, if you're willing to help.

Please show your support for Camp Quest Texas by organizing a campership in your organization's name, that will send at least one secular child to camp this year. All it takes is $500 per child to make it happen - as simple as a $5 donation from your 100 most generous members.

In return, we'll list your organization on our website as one of our Campership Sponsors for 2012, and you can be proud of the impact that you and your organization has made in the life of a child who would otherwise not be able to experience camp.

Here's some of the kids you'll help this year:

"My daughter's former friends found out that she didn't believe in a god, and now they all bully her... I want her to see that she's not alone and that there are other kids like her." -Euless, Texas

"My son's father doesn't support us financially. There's only one other non-religious family in our small town, and I'd like him to meet other kids at camp, but I can't afford to send him on my own." -Quinlan, Texas

"Being at Camp Quest Texas was the first time in our daughter's life that she felt completely comfortable and honest around kids her own age. She said it was like drawing a deep breath for the first time." -College Station, Texas

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm looking forward to your partnership with Camp Quest Texas!
