London Loop Part 8 - Ewell to Kingston

This is the eight part of the London Loop, which the Met Walkers are planning to complete by the end of 2014.

• 9 miles

• A moderate graded walk through suburbs, river paths & parkland

• Take 12:32 from London Waterloo (12:42 Clapham Junction), arr. Ewell West 13:05. Zone 6.

• Walk finishes at Kingston railway station (zone 6)

• Bring packed lunch, pub stop at end of walk.

• Various drop out points using local buses.

Walk leader is Des.

This is the sixth and seventh part of the London Loop, which the Met Walkers are planning to complete in stages by the end of 2014. Please see: http://www.walklondon.org.uk/section.asp?R=5&section=8&x=18&y=9 for a description of this stage of the walk.

Try us free! You are welcome to try up to three walks before joining, and there are new members on most walks. Membership costs just £32 per year (concessionary £19.50). Once you've tried out a few walks and decided you like us, join Met Walkers.

We have hundreds of members outside of Meetup. They benefit from a choice of five or six walks a week with no need to book, many social events and weekend trips away.

Please note the following:

The number of attendees shown on Meetup is not reflective of how many will turn up. We advertise our walks in a number of places and you will find a good sized group of walkers on each walk.

At the meeting point we don't hold up a Meetup sign however you will recognise us as we really do look like a group of walkers in their 20s to early 40s and any of the walkers there can confirm they are Met Walkers.

The group host identified on Meetup is usually different from the actual walk leader. The walk leader is identified on the description of the walk and contact details are provided.

For practical and travel tips see our info page Walking with Met Walkers.
