  • This location is shown only to members

This walk visits the Henry Moore Foundation at Perry Green, where we will spend about 3 hours including lunch. Due to the amount of time spent here, this walk is only suited to those who want to visit the sculpture gardens/home. There is an entry cost, more details on the website, www.henry-moore.org/pg/visiting. You can bring a packed lunch or visit the pub/tea room. Pub stop at the end in Sawbridgeworth.

• 10 miles

• Moderate pace through fields & riverside

• Finish at Sawbridgeworth station

• Walk leader is Louise

Try us free! You are welcome to try up to three walks before joining, and there are new members on most walks. Membership costs just £32 per year (concessionary £19.50). Once you've tried out a few walks and decided you like us, join Met Walkers.

We have hundreds of members outside of Meetup. They benefit from a choice of five or six walks a week with no need to book, many social events and weekend trips away.

Please note the following:

The number of attendees shown on Meetup is not reflective of how many will turn up. We advertise our walks in a number of places and you will find a good sized group of walkers on each walk.

At the meeting point we don't hold up a Meetup sign however you will recognise us as we really do look like a group of walkers in their 20s to early 40s and any of the walkers there can confirm they are Met Walkers.

The group host identified on Meetup is usually different from the actual walk leader. The walk leader is identified on the description of the walk and contact details are provided.

For practical and travel tips see our info page Walking with Met Walkers.
