Point Mountain Loop

4 mile loop hike, slippery conditions but a fantastic view. Over 600 foot ascent! If you have Mircospikes you might want to bring them in case snow is still on the ground.

Doug will be taking the lead this time around, and can better answer questions regarding the route he will choose. Any questions you can text me at[masked] -Doug

That was great, apart from the first ascent when I thought my heart was going to stop - really need to do this more often...

Yes, you definitely got your second wind! Your cardio may need a little work, but kudos to your endurance :)

Thanks :-) I went to Duke Farms for long, but gentle hike today. I'm going to do at least two hikes next weekend too if I can.

Thanks, Mike!! However, that would mean driving to Lebanon starting at 3 pm. That's generally not an option for me (and I suspect many others). Is a weekend an option?

Possibly a saturday afternoon some time, but generally I host long hikes every Sunday, and I work most Saturdays.

Not sure which way you will be coming from. Lebanon Township and Glen Gardner border one another. If you take highway 78 to exit 17. Route 31 follow 31 south all way to Musconetcong River Rd.- County road 645.

follow that all way to end Mosconetcong River Road until you hit stop sign. Make left hand turn at stop sign, parking will be on right.
