A Study of Freemasonry and the meaning behind Color
This philosophical study of colors in psychology will include examples of quantification of individual color preferences and data regarding the relationship of color usage and effects across cultures and time periods. In addition, we will review a number of key reasons why the principle of caveat emptor should prevail in regard to color psychology, especially in favor of information about color psychology found in mainstream of marketing and popular culture. The subject theme will show why Carl Jung is most prominently associated with the pioneering stages of color psychology and how his work has historically informed the modern field of colors in psychology. During this presentation people will see why the study of color has become a determinant of human behavior.
