Please note that we promote our events in a variety of ways so the number of RSVPs on meetup will not give you an accurate count. Also, tickets must be purchased through Savor Tonight in order to reserve your spot. An RSVP on meetup will not secure your spot.
Leonard Beck once said, "To eat an oyster is to kiss the sea on the lips" and once you kiss that sea, there's no going back. Your palate will have been excited in a way that you haven't experienced before -- and you'll want to return to repeat that tasting memory.
Since our oyster tasting was so successful in October, we've decided to host a second event at Oceanaire. This time, we'll be moving to a different region for a tutored tasting with Executive Chef Kareem Anguin. Guests will explore the different species and discover how varied an oyster's flavor profile can be. They will also become familiar with oyster terminology, learn how oysters are harvested, discover that oysters naturally take on the flavor of where they were grown, known as the oyster's merroir -- and have time for a Q & A with the chef. 6-8 different regions will be featured.
For this event, we'll be pairing up some bubbly with the oysters -- a match made in heaven, while learning about this natural aphrodisiac. Chef Kareem will also be preparing some sumptuous hors d'oeuvres for the group that are sure to please your palate.
UNFORTUNATELY, THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT & NO MORE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE. ONLY THOSE PEOPLE WHO PURCHASED THEIR TICKETS IN ADVANCE WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND.

Hurricane Island, New Brunswick
