Welcome, Facebookers and fellow Meetupers!

I was part of a great non-scene 20-somethings gay group in Boston that was an awesome, awesome experience for me, and I noted that Miami didn't have one (there's a successful one in New York City as well). We're as cool as Boston and New York, right?

So the purpose is: meet people who are people, in settings where you can actually meet people (as opposed to -- and no offense to Score, Twist, etc., -- which do a great job at what they do) and have fun. Maybe just find new friends, maybe network, maybe find the man of your dreams (though there are better venues for that -- okCupid, I would recommend highly).

Join us if you like to talk, like to drink and eat out. I'm not one for throwing negative whatevers in here. I just turned 30 like two weeks ago, and the NYC and Boston groups are "20-somethings," so, hence, the 30-somethings. But you know what? Us 30-somethings are sexy, funny b*tches too. Anyway -- come join us. Personally, I have a really flexible schedule so can do whenever nights are good for people, and I live in midtown with easy access to the beach. There's a lot of great happy hours, and I think we should start there, and then maybe graduate to dinners, and maybe -- just maybe -- like art museums or something. :)
