Calle Ocho!

• The Calle Ocho Festival!

Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street) becomes the scene of Huge Carnaval as over a million spectators gather in Little Havana to celebrate Miami's largest annual party

Admission: Free!

The big party is on Sunday March 9th and is one of Miami’s “don’t miss” events!

MeetUp Spot: We Will Meet in Front of the Burger King and Work our way Down the Street Festival. (Time and Location are Subject to Change)

The festival closes off 24 blocks of SW 8th Street to host dancing, food, drink, free giveaways, and 30 stages of live entertainment. This is one heck of a party! In 1988, the festival was the scene of a Guinness World Record, as 119,986 people joined in the world’s longest conga line!

What is the best way to get to the Burger King
(1701 SW 8th St, Miami , FL) on Sunday from Fort Lauderdale? I'm going to take a wild guess and say driving and parking is going to be horrible.....

Take I95 to the SW 7th Street exit and turn right on 7th Street. People in the neighborhood will be charging to park in their yard. When you get near 17th Ave find some yard space on the back streets. Alternatively, if the Marlin's Stadium parking is open that day, it is on 17th Ave several blocks away from 8th St.

Come by my Heineken booth on the corner of 22nd and 8th street at the chevron gas station. Buy a Heineken there and support our school. That's where the the best concerts will be this year!!! Come by and say hi.
