At the workshop I learned how to straighten out a building in a photo, and today was able to make it work! Thanks, Jaime!

To answer a couple of questions about the presentation on Thursday…
This is basically a "how to" class. It will focus mainly on the processing of a photo. We will go through the various procedures step by step. It will take an out of camera photo to the final image ready for posting, printing or publishing. I will demonstrate the tools as well as some tips and tricks. There are some helpful handouts and there will be time at the end for questions. It is not necessary to bring a laptop, but some may find it useful. Looking forward to seeing you all. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have specific questions. [masked]

FYI: It is not necessary to bring a laptop for next week. Some don't have laptops and have only desktops at home. Some may find it helpful. Others may find it cumbersome, depending on their learning style.

You will learn many things that can be done in Adobe Camera Raw. It is not absolutely necessary to have Lightroom, but it is an advantage. You can also download a 30-day trial of Lightroom.
