Started my love for still photography in high school. Originally started by doing band promos in a gutted out bedroom. One of the bands I did photography with gave me this old fog machine that used dry ice. It was a 55 gallon drum with a heating element. My neighbors thought I was a drug dealer because cars full of long haired bands would pile into my house to get group shots. My photography has evolved and so has my interests. I have enjoyed sailing and working to perfect my shots on the water. I enjoy HDR, and panoramic stitching. Always wanting to learn more and share what I have learned.
Currently shooting a Nikon D200, I started in high school with Nikon F1 and for most of my life that is what am comfortable shooting. I went to the dark side for years with Canon. But have returned to what I am comfortable with. I have learned it is more about your minds eye and out smarting the camera. I have never been a purist. I believe you alter the photography the minute you choose to compose.
I want to master composition and style. Create one piece of photography a month that has Awww factor.
