What is the Bull Run Mountains Conservancy, Inc. (BRMC)?

As the most easterly chain in the Piedmont, the Bull Run Mountains include unique ecosystems and the headwaters of the Occoquan and Goose Creek watersheds. The Bull Run Mountains are also rich in Virginia and Civil War history. BRMC is headquartered on the southern 800 acres of the 2,500-acre Bull Run Mountains Natural Area Preserve just 15 minutes from Manassas, Middleburg, and Warrenton, Virginia. MAHG MEMBERS who volunteer in this volunteer trail work opportunity will receive free hikes (regular 1-2 dollar value hikes only) with The Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group (MAHG) for the next 30 days from the date of the event (or the date I confirm receipt of your e-mail; whichever comes later) as a token of our gratitude and appreciation for helping us take care of the trails! However, YOU MUST let me know that you attended the event in order to receive your free hikes by sending me a brief description of the project you worked on to [masked]. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation from me within 48 hours after sending your summary, pretty please text or call me at 240.393.7640. I receive an average of 300 e-mails from members daily and as a result, it is possible for me to run days behind when responding to e-mails. Please note that there is only one me and over 13,500 of you-grin.  Thanks so much for your time and for participating in this community-building event and it should be a ton of fun too. I hope to see you out on the trail soon. Note: If you contact me after the event has occurred to let me know you were there, but you did not sign up on our site in advance, you will not receive any free hikes.

An invigorating and rewarding couple of hours on a gorgeous day in a picture pretty preserve. We started early enough to have the rest of the day for other activities!

Well organized. Work was not difficult but still left a feeling of accomplishment. Finished early, so I hiked up to the High Top overlook.

I notice their website lists a PO Box for an address - what is the street address so I can look it up for driving directions?
