How did you discover Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group (MAHG)?

Searched for "walk."

What are you looking for out of this group? (walks, transition from walking to hiking, easy, moderate, or strenuous hikes, ultra hiking, or trail maintenance work?) Please state all that applies to help us plan activities to meet your needs...

Easy walks.

If I can run, I can hike!

Glad to see that you joined DC-area Shakespeare Explorers! I thought our discussion of Winter's Tale at DC Metro Book Club worked out fairly well (despite the background noise at Elephant and Castle and the fact that most people are more used to talking about contemporary novels).

I'm disappointed to say that I will be out of town on the date of this meetup, for which my attendance is confirmed. If space is limited, please let anyone else interested know that a place has opened up. I did read the book, in preparation. It was fascinating, especially the implications for science and philosophy. With regrets, Trish Weil

I already bought the Stephen Mitchell version of Gilgamesh, since I'm counting on its winning the poll. You'd said something about specifying the version, so I'm putting this out there.... (smile)

Mark, Sorry to miss this month's meeting after just joining this group. I'm looking forward to September's meeting though and the book looks interesting.
Thanks very much for taking on the role of organizer. I'm sure it's ultimately more work than any of us imagine!

I am fine with postponing. I would prefer Dec. 2nd to Dec. 16 but could make either date work.
