walking, hiking, whatever - pretty much anything that will get me outside.
I spend most of my waking hours in front of a computer - I need to see some nature!
Hi Amy, we have 3 events coming up, hope to see you soon!
Thanks for a fun dinner at Terasol. Nice to meet you!
Thanks for joining the Lazy DC Brunchers; I hope we get to brunch together soon! Feel free to let me know if you have any brunch places you recommend or have been wanting to try.
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. Know a good thing when you see it, and don't let it slip away. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just said it would be worth it!

Amy, there is now a space open for the following hike you are wait listed for with The MD.DC.VA Hiking Group, "Leaf Peeping Hike! Appalachain Trail - Pine Knob to Pen Mar County Part 1 of 2 with Optional Post Hike Meal" on 10-17. Please RSVP either way and enjoy the hike if you go!
Hi, Amy. I just heard back from the sales manager of Basikneads Catering in Alexandria, which hosts a lot of cooking classes, and she said: Classes are $90 per person and are held from 7:30-9 p.m. (usually Mon or Tues). We require the final count and payment by the Monday before the class. I recommend our Creole class. Chef Cornell is a former protégé of Emeril Lagasse and has a special Southern flare to his cooking. Also offer Seafood, Italian (gnocchi or risotto), and Poultry.
Hi, Amy. I'm new to this meetup group so I don't know if the organizers aregoing to act on members' interest in the cooking class, but I'm definitely game, so if you hear of one that sounds interesting, please let me know and I'll do the same.
