Introduction

I've been hiking with some of the other meetup groups in the area, but want to expand my horizons!

How did you discover Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group (MAHG)?

What are you looking for out of this group? (walks, transition from walking to hiking, easy, moderate, or strenuous hikes, ultra hiking, or trail maintenance work?) Please state all that applies to help us plan activities to meet your needs...

Welcome to the meetup group of the Natural History Society of Maryland, Julia. Coincidence: I spent my summers on the Raquette River--near Colton, NY. Magical place. Was that near to where you stayed? I also hope that we can use meetups to gather and just listen to music.

Julia, I hope you will join us for a hike sometime. I see you like longer hikes as much as I do. Also, if you ever want to explore during the week witha compass and a map I am retired and am always looking for people to explore with!
