How did you discover Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group?

I found this group by eMail because I put things I was interested in in another profile. This MeetUp site is pretty good with suggestions.

What are you looking to experience with MAHG? (examples: walks, transition from walking to hiking, easy/moderate/strenuous/very strenuous hiking, trail stewardship, classes) Please state all that applies to help us plan activities to meet your needs.

I love all hikes whether they be short after work hikes in the neighborhood or a little more distance like at the AT or SNP. I can hike easy to strenuous hikes but like to keep the pace at 2 to 2.5 mph (otherwise you miss all the stuff!)

You can support me at: I'm taking a Xtreme Hike to help raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis! 21 miles in ONE day in the GW National Forrest.

What Jim W. is saying about this Meetup Group

Great to meet new people that share some common interests and you get to see some spots around Maryland that you might not stumble upon on your own. Even though they are right in your own backyard.
