I'm a geologist with the Maryland Department of the Environment who loves to do outdoor activities (hiking, rafting, caving, bicycling, etc.) and likes being with others of similar interests.

How did you discover Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group (MAHG)?

Recommended by a friend who joined recently.

What are you looking for out of this group? (walks, transition from walking to hiking, easy, moderate, or strenuous hikes, ultra hiking, or trail maintenance work?) Please state all that applies to help us plan activities to meet your needs...

Hikes (casual to challenging) in all terrains, interesting day trips and weekend outings, outdoor service projects (such as trail maintenance), rock scrambling (such as Old Rag Trail).

How are you Rick? I walk the talk adapting to the latest in nutritional science; it was great food and an awesome discussion last evening at the Baltimore EarthSave dinner. Hope to see you around :)

It was nice to meet you and our conversations made the 5 miles just slip by. Hope to see you on another hike!

Hi, Rick! I liked your kind ways Wednesday evening, nice to 'meet' you ... I just joined this meetup ;-) I myself am a Master of Science nurse, with also a very strong self-taught progressive path into natural health, and quite a personal library too :-))
