Food Share at Carman's place.

Hi All,

April's Food Share is at Carman's house. Everybody bring a prepared dish that can be divided 7-8 ways. Freezable meals are a plus. We will share a meal and some fun before dividing up what everybody has brought. Please leave a comment closer to the time of the event with what you plan to bring, so that we can pack appropriate containers.

There are two cats and a dog in the house, so allergy sufferers, be warned/prepared.

      No cumin or curry. It does have a tiny bit of african hot pepper (similar to cayenne). I sometimes put cumin in taboulie, but not this batch. It has bulgur wheat, parsley, mint, red pepper, carrot, onion, scallion, lemon juice, raw garlic, salt, black pepper, cayenne, olive oil, and chick peas.

    So dinner will be pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw, green beans and mashed sweet potatoes. For swap, I'm making shepherds pie, but instead of a potato topping, it's going to be cauliflower and turnip. And the meat will probably be a beef/lamb blend. Depends on Meijer having lamb.
