- Bridge Street Socializing on Wine Wednesday!Bridge Street Social, DeWitt, MI
Hi Everyone!
I have heard good things about the new menu at Bridge Street Social so I figured, let's give it a try :) For those who haven't yet been there, BSS has a modern "bistro-type" flair with vegan, vegetarian, and carnivorous options. The menu is here.
BSS Is also known for their extensive wine program -- and Wednesday is "Wine Wednesday", where all bottles are 50% off! A great reason to come out and break bread with friends, old and new :)
I hope to see you there so we can eat, laugh, and share :)

- Let's Play With Our Food Together!Boiling Pots, East Lansing, MI
Do you like to play with your food? Do you not want to be judged whilst you play? Then this is the event for you!
When I used to work in Guangzhou, I used to stop by this small hot pot place on my way back to my apartment. You were served an individual pot of broth along with various ingredients to dip, swirl, etc until you were ready to eat. It was a fun way to get your calories. And I found myself eating way more vegetables eating this way than I would normally. I haven't tried this locally and that is about to change!
The idea behind Boiling Pots is to try this food-dunking/cooking experience together, where we can chat, tell jokes, and generally drink in the tasty smells :) The menu features both hot pots as well as a large variety of Chinese/Sichuan food. So, if you are not feeling the broth game, you can opt for a wide variety of other Chinese dishes you may enjoy.
