Take a Hike at Pine Ridge State Park Near New Bloomfield MO.

Pine Ridge is a camp ground near Guthrie MO located on Meadowmere Rd. which is also Hwy Y. The Hike is basically one way so we can go in an hour and turn around.

Directions:

From Hwy 63 between Jefferson City and Columbia (at Ashland) take Hwy Y east until you are near Guthrie and look for the park on your left. It should be approximatley 7-8 miles from Ashland.

From Hwy 54 look for MO J near New Bloomfield MO. Head northwest on MO J until you hit Hwy Y. Make a left, go about 1-2 miles and look for the park on your right .

We will wait at the entrance of the park until about 2:30pm.

We can talk about going to dinner afterwards if any one is interested.

We have a few walking sticks if folks think they might need one. I have been on several hikes with snow/weather like this. There should be a lot of slushy snow on the path itself. Your feet should sink down and create traction. There might be a few muddy places, but not many. It should be plenty warm. Do this!

I still plan on this hike, consider bringing an extra pair of shoes.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
