WHEN: Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26th anytime Friday to Anytime Sunday, You must RSVP by May 19th to be able to eat with us, they need a head count for how much food they will need to have on hand.

BRING: gloves, long pants, old tennis shoes or work boots, sun hat, water bottle, games, snacks, lawn chair, towels, sheets/sleeping bag, swim suit, fishing pole, games for the evening time and whatever else you need to have sleep, and have fun.
WE NORMALLY STAY IN THE GOSPEL HOSTEL BUNK HOUSE. THIS IS A NICE BUILDING WITH HEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING, NICE BATHROOMS WITH SHOWERS, DIVIDED INTO FOUR SEPARATE BUNK HOUSE ROOMS WITH SEPARATE ENTRANCES. THEY HAVE SINGLE BUNK BEDS AND 1 FULL SIZE BUNK BED IN EACH PART. THERE IS A LARGE COMMON AREA WITH A FRIDGE, MICROWAVE, TABLE, and COUCHES. MEN AND WOMEN SLEEP IN SEPARATE SIDES OF THE BUILDING. MARRIED COUPLES CAN REQUEST LODGING AT THE SPITZ CENTER, or if one of the bunk house rooms are not used you can stay in that side.
COST: $0 but a donation made to them to defray the cost of food would be greatly appreciated or donating something from their wish list on their website www.heitspoint.com would be beneficial.
We will be working to serve the center and get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while we fellowship with each other have fun, and do activities at the same time.
We will be doing some sort of work to help the camp get ready for the June BBQ. You can volunteer to help in the gardens, inside the Spitz center ( it is where the hotel rooms, meeting rooms, chapel are located), help around the outside of the center (no tools needed), help at the camp ground, various cabins, bunk houses, dock and lake area, prayer trail and much more. We will work in groups.
