Weavers Country Market and Lehman's Restaurant in Versailles MO

What: Let’s visit an Amish Country store and then go to a Mid-Missouri Country Restaurant for dinner.
What people say about the market: "Shopping at Weavers: We always look forward to our yearly visit to Weavers store, we like the variety & quality of the products. We usually buy spices, teas, candy and jams, plus excellent kitchen wares, etc."‎ - Don & Gloria L. ‎ - Feb 26, 2009 "Cheap Spices: This is where we go to get spices. You can get a huge bottle of real vanilla for a few bucks, or large tubs of spices very cheap. They also have a variety of fresh produce, meats, and cheese. You can find flowering plants and garden ..."‎ - Ronnie C. ‎ - May 8, 2008
What people are saying about Lehman’s Restaurant: “From the not too sweet frosting on the cinnamon rolls to just sweet enough house salad dressing, the Mennonite Cafe, Lehman's, will make your tongue, stomach wallet and maybe even your soul smile. The service comes from a genuinely friendly waitress who happily, and quickly, takes your order and brings the food. Every item I got on the menu screamed slow cooked home style goodness. Mashed potatoes were outstanding as was the beef and I ended up eating way more than I should have. The prices were more than reasonable and if I lived closer to this fine establishment I could see even my skinny ### gaining a few pounds.” So, what are you saying about this event? We hope that you will join us. The meet up plan: Let’s meet at the First Assembly of God Church on C near the corner of Southwest Blvd in Jefferson City at 2pm. This will give us two hours to browse the store before we go to dinner. We should be back in J. C. around 8pm.

Lehman's had a great buffet, delicious food, and an out-of-this-world caramel apple pie (as well as lots of other yummy desserts)! Weavers has lots of neat stuff for sale...if anyone can't think of what to get me for Christmas, just go to Weaver's and fill a basket with their goods and put my name on it! The whole day was a really enjoyable time with everyone. I think my neighbor, Charlie, enjoyed himself too...probably got a kick out of us young "pups". I

It was great fun. One of the best crowds we had in a while. We all stuck together and I believe got to know each other a little better. Thanks Julaine for bringing Charlie. I think he enjoyed it.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
