Yes, this is a Sunday Morning event. For those that want to, Julaine and I are going to attend Trinity Lutheran (where we have our game night) on that Saturday evening at 6pm since our church does not have Saturday evening services.
I also thought we could listen to a message, sing some worship songs and even share testimonies on the way to St. Louis on Sunday morning. Just an option.
Here are the Mardi Gras events:
Beggin’ Pet Parade: February 23rd, The Parade Steps off at 1:00 p.m.
What is it?
The Guinness Record holder for the largest parade of costumed animals has delighted families for 21 years. The parade is open to all (dogs, cats, goldfish, llamas, etc.) The parade snakes its way through Soulard stepping off at Allen and Menard, concluding at 8th and Lafayette, by Soulard Market.
ALSO: PetSmart Wiener Dog Derby
The longest-running Dachshund Derby in America is back for its 18th year. Enjoy the Sport of Weenies as wiener dogs compete in three aged-based categories: Cocktail Weenies, Ballpark Franks, and Hot Dogs, for the title of fastest Weenie! The races take place over a series of elimination heats until we have the Dash of Champions in each age category.
The band BARENAKED LADIES GO ON AT 2 P.M. @ 9TH AND LAFAYETTE
<blockquote> AFTER THE EVENTS WE CAN FIND A VENUE IN SOULARD TO HAVE DINNER.
Hope you can come.
