Beginner/Gentle Yoga and Bike Ride

The Library will not be having Yoga this Wednesday, so I thought we might do a little outside yoga in the shade at a park.  I've been doing yoga for about 5 years, it wont be hard for me to lead a 1 hour beginner/gentle yoga class.  I can take time to give you a few tips and information about different poses.  You will need to bring your own mats or towels to lie on and about a 5 ft strap or rope. If you have been wanting to try Yoga, this will be a great time to check it out.  It is not just for flexible people and it is so healthy for everyone.  Wear stretchy pants or shorts and a fairly loose shirt that doesn't gap open or fall up, when you bend over.

After yoga ends at 6:30, if it isn't raining, we can do a bike ride on the Katy Trail or into town. We will wait for the riders who are there to pick which way to go.

Bring a snack or supper for yourself to have after yoga or during the bike ride. If it is raining, we can sit and visit, or even do more yoga.

Show up for either one or both parts of this event If you have any other ideas, then just make a suggestion.  Put comments below and be sure to check back.

For a backup plan, if it is raining and the pavilion is rented, we will move at 5:40 to the small pavilion at the Master Gardeners area. I will also post it here if that happens.

sounds like a good would be fun to do Yoga while listening to a soft rain.

Last Wednesday, Jennifer suggested a bike ride, but there is a 60% chance or rain for this Wednesday. Nobody else has made any suggestions, so I'm thinking the North JC pavilion for yoga. Do you have anything in mind?
