Mid South Italian Club March Dinner at:
May 24 at 7.00 pm
We so enjoyed our January dinner at Cafe Fontana that we're going to do it again -- only this time, we'll enjoy their beautiful, newly redecorated patio! Unfortunately, they only have room for 25 people, so be sure to sign up today!
Due to the size of our group, Cafe Fontana is going to offer us a selection of three different appetizers and five different entrees. No worries, though! I promise there will be something for everyone!
In the tradition of small family trattorias, Café Fontana proudly serves robust, hearty Italian cuisine made with the freshest ingredients and fine herbs. It is set in the charming historic Farley House c. 1937 in Old Town Cordova. The restaurant boasts quaint dining rooms, a beautifully landscaped courtyard surrounding a fountain, perfect for outdoor dining, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Chef Thomas Schranz has appeared on the Food Network and has cooked for some of the finest restaurants in South Florida.
If you'd like to join us, please be sure to register and update your Mid South Italian Club membership. For more info, visit http://midsouthitalianclub.wildapricot.org/Default.aspx?pageId=1307599
Cafe Fontana only serves wine and beer. Cocktails are not available for purchase and we are not allowed to bring them with us. There was a little confusion about this the last time we were at Cafe Fontana, so if you'd like a cocktail, please have one before you come to the restaurant.
Cafe Fontana has a nice wine list. All bottles are $24 and the charge for a glass is $6.50.
You're welcome to bring your own wine. The corkage fee is $15.
We will have separate checks and gratuity will automatically be added.
In the event of rain, we will cancel the dinner and reschedule for another evening.
