Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic Hikers Climbers & Campers Group.

We welcome all, young and old, newbie and experienced, for hiking, climbing, backpacking, kayaking, camping, happy hours, festivals, sporting events and occasional trips. We don't charge fees for hiking (why pay for something free?), we don't have frustrating waiting lists, nor we don't micromanage our members. Our activities are for fun, stress relief and exercise, not a sporting competition. (Some events incur event admission fees that you pay on your own.)

An absolute must for participation is -- Always bring your sense of adventure and humor is a must! We have been told by many that we are quite the hilarious group! If you can't cut loose and crack jokes, this probably isn't the meetup for you.

Attendees: You must have a pic on your profile once so that can we recognize you. We ask you look at the activity description and sign up for physical activities within your scope. If you are unsure if you can handle an event, please email us for details. You should check for updates in the comment section before any event.

Potential Leaders/Coordinators: If you would like to volunteer to organize hikes and/or lead hikes, please contact us.

Suggestions: If you've got them share them! We are always open to all suggestions on hiking, climbing, road trips, and other adventures. Please post your ideas and participate in the polls so that we are planning events that you want!
