Engineer by trade. Pretty much up for anything. I'm willing to ride anywhere on short notice if I can. I travel a lot for work, so I may not be able to make all of the meetups, but if I'm in town, I'm up for a ride!
2011 Victory Cross Country Ness Edition. My first bike was a 2001 Suzuki Volusia.
Everywhere... I live downtown so I like cruising through the city, I'm big on hitting the twisties (been to the Dragon on occasion), and I'm also up for longer distance riding. I've taken off on cross-country trips on a whim (to the Sturgis Rally, riding out to Las Vegas, up and down the East Coast). Anywhere I can go on the bike, I want to go on the bike!
Bought my first bike in 2009 and rode it out to Sturgis 2 weeks later. I put 20,000 miles on that bike in the two years I owned it. Then in June 2011, I got a whim and rode out to Las Vegas to visit a buddy and while I was out there I traded in the Volusia for a Victory. I've put a almost 20k miles on the Victory since then... So not too many years, but a good many miles under my belt

This made me think of you and Jacqui!
In between bikes at the moment but hoping that will change this year though.
Good idea! I am waiting for Dr to give me the go ahead on walking then I can joinup on an outing and meet the group! Thanks Bill!
I eat a lot of lunchtime chinese buffet. 4.98 buffet on Harding is always open, Christmas day etc. I enjoy real good Talapia. Centennial Buffet behind Krogers at Hickory Hollow is great. Hibachi Grill is new near Due West and Shoneys has good Talapia. A 4.98 lunch Mexican buffet is good out Charlotte near Captain D's. I can catch the free bus to farmers market for lunch. Be there.
Tough luck for me but I welcome a New adventurous year to come! So how do I go about finding a backseat? Never had to look for one..... Good idea! Sure would like to meet up with everyone - will keep my eye on calender.
Bought a beautiful bike- got cut off plus my inexperience - crashed my bike! Into my 7 th week of recovery! Don't know if I will ride my own bike again..... Hate to leave the biking community - time will tell......
Hell Bill, it was good talking to you the other day. As far as the ride, I didn´t know I could post one... Either way, we will have to do something on your return to town. Hopefully, we will have a few decent days to ride on January.
Merry Christmas.
Hi Bill!
Thanks for the heads up! I'll check that out. Heading into town tomorrow so hoping to find something soon:)
