Free RPG Day at I'M Board!

While you are running through the store scooping up your free stuff, why not stop and play a game as well?

We have two for you to choose from. One will be the ongoing Dead in Thay adventure and the second will be a Pathfinder scenario, #5-11: Library of the Lion.

For Dead in Thay, this will be session #7. For those of you who have played some portion of this before, welcome back. For those of you who have not and would like to try out the newest edition of Dungeons and Dragons, welcome aboard! You do not need to have played any of the previous sessions to play now. Dead in Thay is a massive dungeon crawl reminiscent of the Tomb of Horrors or Ruins of Undermountain. It is great fun so please consider signing up!  To read up on what has happened before, click here.

The Pathfinder scenario we will be running is #5-11: Library of the Lion. Few societies have so vaunted a tradition of leading crusades as Taldor, yet the constant revisions to its history by scheming factions leaves the truth obscured by countless acts of political modifications. Even the lauded Kitharodian Academy’s texts are riddled with these changes, so when a secretive ally approaches the Pathfinder Society with information about a hidden archive that contains the unaltered histories, the Pathfinders plan a daring infiltration to recover the secrets of Taldor’s past victories so that Mendev might benefit from the discovery. Content in "Library of the Lion" also contributes directly to the ongoing storylines of the Cheliax, Grand Lodge, and Taldor factions.

Each game will start at 5:00 on Saturday the 21st. Each game can take a maximum of 6 players. And, as always, the first 6 to RSVP and specifically state which game they want to play in are guaranteed a seat.

See you all in a couple of weeks!

I will be attending - would love to play the elf Wizard. Still open?

He may be, Brian -- if not, you'll have to cage-fight anyone else who shows up to claim him. TO THE DEATH.

If there are still spots open for the PFS scenario, I'd love to play. Do I need to sign up anywhere other than here?

No Sam. You are good to go. We will see you on Saturday!

To clarify, since we seem to be seeing a lot of activity on this event: Dead In Thay can take a maximum of 8 players. That's really just my call on what I think I can handle for players, the dungeon will try to kill you just as hard no matter how many of you there are.

One other note: After 4 near-TPKs during the sessions we've run so far, The God of Experience and Good Timing is promoting each of the pre-gen characters to 7th level in preparation for this Saturday's game!

Dead in Thay was a fun time. I hope to get a pass from the adult in charge at the house...May not know until later this week. If you have a solid 8 by that time then I will have to catch up later.
