Like Stephen said, this venue is popular and will get packed before 6. It will be better if we can get there before 6 and try to get a table. As an encouragement for you to show up early, people show up before 6pm will get my strawberry Jell-O shot.

I had fun meeting everyone and the beer was pretty tasty; I just wish it hadn't been so hot!

Apologies if I missed the post but where are we meeting (at front door? Inside somewhere? )?

    July 26

    • Joe

Usually we meet inside for a brewery tour. The site for updates

NOTE: 8th Wonder is at the corner of Dallas and Hutchins, two blocks of Highway 59. I actually recommend folks park near Dynamo Stadium 2-3 short blocks north of the Brewery. After the tour, we will walk as a large group to the Dynamo stadium area where there are several bars available to continue the evening, including our Co-Organzer Joe's favorite, Neil's Bahr. See everyone tomorrow night, should be an awesome event!!!

I'll be taking whom ever to Neil's

Hi everyone, really looking forward to this event Saturday night!!! With three of our organizers in attendance, it promises to be quite a festive evening! Eight Wonder is in a perfect location, 3 blocks south of the Dynamo Stadium across from the GRB. With several other bar options in the area, we will continue the evening long after the tour itself ends!!

This isn't a cheep tour. $25 per person at the door. They do recommend that you purchase online. Please post links to Groupon and LivingSocial as folks come across them and pair up.

Stephen, are you sure the tours are always $15? The reviews I have been reading have been given me different prices. The most recent one said $15 for a glass and three tokens. Earlier ones said different things. Maybe they have different things going on? Or the $25 was a special event?

      July 25

    • Stephen

I read a Yelp review and last Sat it was $15. The reviewer didn't mention having a coupon.

      July 25

  • Stephen

I recommend getting there by 5:45 to get in line for a table. Be prepared that we may not be able to fit everyone at a table. Like most brewery tours, you'll probably have to stand. Demand is great for this place!!

    July 25

  • Stephen

CORRECTION: it appears the tour is $15, not $25, which should include a pint glass and four pours, so that is pretty reasonable. I don't see any online coupons. You can pay at the door.
