I'm not stoking controversy (yes=casino/no=casino) here within our ranks, but my intent is to bring the debate home on a key regional issue and in support of good and decent representatives, Councilors Kevin Jourdain and Linda Vacon.

An elaborate Anti-Casino Pamphlet was mailed throughout Holyoke. The progressive left under Mayor Morse and state Rep. Vega are trying to pin a straw man's argument on Mayoral Challenger Jeff Stanek, who's a good man, and my choice for Mayor. I believe "the left" wants to create fear among the electorate and a possible red herring to divert attention from real problems (i.e., needle exchange, poverty, crime, etc.).
