My only minor disappointment was that it felt less Clean Tech than its billing. But, I really enjoyed the meetup speed dating thing. I plan to try out the futures salon. And, I learned some things about podcasts and blogs as well. So, wasn't quite what I expected, but had a great experience anyway.

A good event, had the opportunity to meet some great people and discovered some new, relevant meetup groups.
My two cents about the meet-up groups idea: if this meet-up round-up is going to become official, i would suggest that each meet-up rep prepare a 1-2 minute "did you know...?" intro - NOT about that meet-up group per se, but about some trend, insight or problem that the group's particular topic/mission offers. i.e. for the "Futurism" meet-up, perhaps a stat or story about how Futurism influences another realm, like small business or fiction-writing; or maybe what kinds of people (world leaders? economists?)turn to Futurists for what kinds of info. This kind of intro would make the rest of us think about and visualize better "What could this group contribute my business or personal interests?" Or "Huh, I just learned something that I can wow people with at a cocktail party."

It was an excellent forum to get a quick look at what is going on with many tech-related MeetUps in Denver. I will certainly attend future meetings.
well done, very informative
Better social dynamics. Met far more people because small groups let to more interaction. Not so much the meetup presenters, but the unconference. I was in the outsourcing group and meet a couple of interesting people.

I enjoyed the format of breaking the audience into groups and giving each of the smaller groups an opportunity to hear from the different MeetUp organizers. I didn't get involved with the subject matter discussions, but that was because I was engaged in individual discussions stemming from the MeetUp organizer presentations.
I definitely had some interesting conversations and met some new people. I was expecting it to be a bit more biotechnology oriented since I heard about the group through Biobeers originally.
Where's the good parking? :)
