This is a group for moms (and dads!) who are in their mid-thirties or older with children. We seek to create a positive community of support for midlife parents and families, with plentiful opportunities for socializing, in the Denver area. While we will schedule activities all over the Denver area and sometimes even farther, we are based in the south suburbs, and most of our events occur during the week. Any midlife parents with children are welcome to join our group, although all three of the organizers and almost all of our members are moms to younger children, and the vast majority of our activities are geared to that demographic. (If you go on a hike or to the zoo with us, for example, you can expect that we will move at a toddler/preschool pace.)

We offer a full calendar of varied meet-ups (including but not limited to library, lunch outings, zoos, the aquarium, museums, parks, indoor and outdoor pools, home-based events, family bbqs and family nights out, area gardens, hikes, etc.) AND fun, regularly scheduled nights out for moms. If you're new to the area, welcome! We enjoy showing moms, dads, and their kiddos all that this area has to offer for families, so feel free to join us. We want all members to help us plan/give us their preferences and ideas for outings and events, including mom nights, so we'll frequently ask for your input by email and through the group site, and we are open to just about any fun outings!

Dues are $12/member/year, paid within a month of joining. Any surplus (after site fees are paid) will be used for the group within the group (family bbqs, parties, mom nights, etc). The organizers pledge that we will not benefit financially from member dues.

This is an official drama-free zone. :-)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
