Hands-On Workshop # 2 | Building MileMesh

Are you ready to start building MileMesh?

Now that the weather is starting to get a little better, come on down and learn how to start setting up your own MileMesh Nodes and get them going. We'll have equipment on hand for you to learn with and we'll cover how to flash the devices.

Join us for a series of free hands-on workshops this winter, where you will learn how to build a mesh wireless network node, from unboxing the equipment to installing it at your home or business. We'll also discuss our goals for the year, and opportunities to get involved in other aspects of the project.

Our Second MileMesh Meetup of 2014 will be held at our first install site and Hoboken's Coworking Space on Tuesday, January 28th between 7:30 - 9:30pm.

We are currently completing the install of our first rooftop network hub on the roof at Mission 50. This hub will serve as a gateway and relay for all of southwest Hoboken. We need your help to finish this project quickly! Experience running cabling is preferred, but not required.

Email us @ [masked] for info on being part of this awesome opportunity to learn about mesh technology and help your community.

I am snarled up in some kind of PATH mess. Going to grab the ferry - running very late.

Sorry; I am still catching up from my work/flu combo. I am happy to volunteer later on.

Wanted to mention for everyone to feel free to bring their laptops. If not, no worries.
