Introduction

My name is Leigh and I am the mother of one baby girl born in late August. I EBF and am loving being a mom. However, breastfeeding in public has only been successful once thus far. I would love to meet some mommy friends in the area!

How many children do you have? Gender(s)? Age(s)?

Meadow- Girl, 4 weeks old

Have you ever been looked down on for breast feeding in public?

I have only really tried twice, once I was too nervous and rushed and it wasn't successful. The other time I used a breastfeeding cover and was much more comfortable with it. No one has ever said anything to me.

What is a favorite thing to do with your child/children?

So far walks and snuggles

What is something you really want to do but have not had the chance to do yet?

Ther are lots of things I want to do once Meadow is older, but for now we are just walking and snuggling. But we want to camp, go to the beach, storytime a the library, gymnastics classes, and sports.

What do you hope for in this meetup? (No pressure, I am super open to ideas!)

I hope for tips on breastfeeding in public and just to meet like minded mommy friends as I don't really have any friends with children.
